Here comes the end of our teaching practice days at MGTHS school Mukhathala. This is the last week of my student teaching. My mentor teacher took over full-time in the classroom and I was observing her and other teachers in the other departments. During these observations I’ve noticed things that I didn’t before as a student teacher – the little nuances to keep students on track, how to effortlessly switch from one task to another. I realize now that a lot of this comes from experience as a teacher – a component of my teaching that obviously will be developed in the years to come.

I have enjoyed my student teaching experience. It has been difficult, frustrating, rewarding and fun. I think my philosophy of being flexible, going with the flow and learning as much as I can has reaped dividends. I let things wash over me during the start of my internship. This helped me to find my feet, establish a good classroom routine and get to know the students as people first and then as students second.

I planned all lessons, agendas, test and homework activities for the week. I got to know the students a lot better and they are definitely becoming more at ease with me. I know who to look out for, and those students who are self motivated. I am being careful to cultivate the correct student/teacher relationship.

Lekhsmi maam our optional teacher came to observe our class. I took the chapter The Boy who Drew cats for the students. Everything went well and i could easily handle the class.and it was yet another beautiful experience

During this week of teaching practice, I have experienced both moments of success and areas for improvement. Engaging with my students and witnessing their enthusiasm for learning has been incredibly rewarding. I noticed that incorporating interactive activities and visual aids effectively enhanced their understanding of complex topics. However, I also recognized the need to refine my time management skills, as some lessons ran longer than anticipated. Additionally, I plan to explore different strategies to address the diverse learning needs within the classroom to ensure that every student receives the support they require. Overall, this week has been a valuable learning experience, and I look forward to implementing these insights to further enhance my teaching practice in the future.

This has inspired me to research and incorporate more inclusive strategies to accommodate diverse needs in the future. Overall, this week's experience has reinforced my passion for teaching and motivated me to continually refine my instructional approach to better support and empower my students' educational journey.
